香川県直島の李禹煥美術館で有名な李禹煥氏の展示会、李禹煥展を兵庫県立美術館に見に行ってきた

よく考えると李禹煥美術館も兵庫県立美術館も安藤忠雄氏が設計してるな

The power of atmospheric currents flowing though the sky expands toward humans and toward paintings

あるがままをアルガママにする

Taking what is there just as it is and presenting it "just as it is"

人間は建てようとし自然は戻そうとする

私はその両面の見える門を提示する

Humans try to build, nature tries to restore itself

I present the gate where both sides can be seen

関係項ー星の影

限りなく行くものあれば限りなく来るものあり

その交差に両義の作品が出来る

If there are things in an infinite state of going, then there are things in an infinite state of coming

It's at the intersection of the two where one can make works of ambiguity

一瞬の出会い　余白の響き　無限の広がり

A momentary encounter A reverberation of a margin An expansion of infinity
